Sourabh Aggarwal, MD, FACC, RPVI, is an interventional cardiologist with Heart One Associates who specializes in complex coronary and peripheral interventions at the practice’s locations in Buckeye, Peoria, and Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Aggarwal completed his residency in internal medicine from Western Michigan University, where he was also selected a chief resident by his peers. He pursued his passion for cardiology and completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship at Michigan State University/Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Dr. Aggarwal has multiple board certifications and in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and peripheral vascular imaging. He also has extensive training and specializes in complex coronary and peripheral arterial diseases. He is very passionate about peripheral vascular disease and preventive cardiology and believes that “prevention is better than cure.” He has also received advanced training in procedures such as renal artery interventions, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and percutaneous PFO closure.
He has also published numerous research papers in various peer-reviewed journals and has more than 100 publications to his name. He has also received multiple awards, including Best Research Poster Award at the American College of Cardiology National Meeting, Best Poster and Best Research Paper at American College of Physicians at Michigan, and Best Poster and Research at Western Michigan University School of Medicine’s annual research day.
When not caring for his patients, Dr. Aggarwal enjoys traveling, reading history, and spending time with his family and toddler daughter.
