Nishant Gupta, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist at Heart One Associates in Phoenix, Peoria, and Buckeye, Arizona. He specializes in complex coronary, peripheral, and structural heart interventions. He has extensive experience with chronic total occlusions and bifurcation stenosis. He has also received advanced training in procedures like Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, percutaneous ASD/PFO closure, watchman device implantation, and percutaneous minimally invasive mitral valve repair.  

Dr. Gupta received his medical school education from Government Medical College in India. After moving to the United States in 2005, he completed his residency in internal medicine from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He then pursued his passion for cardiology and completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases from Seton Hall University of Health and Medical Sciences in New Jersey, followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship at Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute-Texas Medical Center in Houston. 

Dr. Gupta is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography. He has performed hundreds of transcatheter aortic valve replacements and serves as an expert and proctor for Medtronic Valve Therapies. He is currently the Vice-Chairman of Cardiology at Arizona Heart Hospital/Arrowhead Hospital. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Gupta has published numerous research papers in various peer-reviewed journals and has also authored a book chapter. He was a Best Case Report Award winner for the American College of Chest Physicians, Best Research Poster Award for the American College of Cardiology, and received an Excellence in Research Award at Seton Hall University. 

In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Gupta enjoys playing cricket, dancing, and spending time with his family.
